WHO WANTS TO PLAY KORIKO WITH ME??

I have just watched the video below, and I am sooo excited to play this game. It is a solo-play journalling-based RPG, about a witch headed to the big city for the first time. But there are twists, and turns, and stakes! I am not a journaller, but this sounds amazing.

So, I bought it immediately, and saw that it has a section on playing with friends. This got me so excited, and I am now writing this with the download open in another tab. First things first, here's what it says about playing as a group:

Koriko is designed to be a solo experience, to be played by yourself at your own pace.[...] In this format, your witches will all come from the same place, and say goodbye to their home together as they depart for their year away. We’ll tell this part of the story as a group, sat together or playing online, using the first two sections of this supplement. You’ll create your world and witches together, and describe how they leave their home and family. After this time playing together, the rest of your witch’s story will be told on your own in regular solo play. Each of your characters will have their own unique journey, and spend their year away in a separate, distinct city, created solely by you as a solo player. Even when playing alone, though, you’ll connect with each other using letters—sharing your experiences and feelings across this shared year

And I thought, hey!! Playing normal TTRPGs with people is always difficult because of scheduling, and the need for someone to "run" the game. And, hey!! I always love the idea of writing to people, but having penpals can be difficult for a billion reasons. And, hey!! People on neocities might like the idea of this game too??

The original rules do assume you'll be face-to-face/online together for the initial set up, but after that its played as usual, on your own, with our group of witches keeping in touch via letters. I think this is super cute!! And pretty low commitment compared to other TTRPGs. The letters can be as long or short as you like, and can be as many or as few as you like, physical or digital.

Anyway, I think this could be so fun, so if you are at ALL interested, drop me a comment on my profile or email me at katbots@proton.me. Don't worry if you dont want to spend money - I will share my PDF! I think that's fair enough to do, the same way I share physical games with my friends. That way you can have a look at the game and read through some bits before deciding if sounds interesting to you or not :D
